This statement serves as TokuGo’s declaration of its sustainability values and mission. The following communication asserts TokuGo’s definition of sustainability, TokuGo’s sustainability approaches, and the role of TokuGo’s leadership in sustainability.

TokuGo aligns with the United Nations definition of sustainable development, which declares that “sustainability is the management of environmental, social, and economic resources with the purpose of ensuring prosperity for future generations.” With this definition, TokuGo positions itself in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Climate Accord, civil society organizations, academia, and several major sustainability principles, guidelines, and standards. Clearly defining sustainability at TokuGo sets a standard for our pursuit of sustainability that is impactful and authentic.

TokuGo establishes its sustainability practices through internal operations and external collaboration. Internal sustainability practices primarily consider technological development and TokuGo team members. TokuGo’s blockchain and AI technology are developed to be energy-efficient, secure, transparent, and auditable. Those working within the TokuGo team are ensured respect and equal opportunity. External sustainability practices relate to operations with partners and clients. TokuGo affirms a commitment to providing a platform for collaborators that seek to invoke authentic and impactful sustainability.

Finally, we believe that enacting a truly authentic sustainability culture originates from leadership. The TokuGo leadership team mandates that sustainability must be considered in all operations of the organization.
